Our best seller is the Bible. This is what our manager said when we asked her about selling Bibles

"It is our greatest joy to see God's word being bought and taken from the shop to be read.

They go near and far……
Over the summer we have supplied Bibles that will be used by a young confirmation class in Maenclochog, to a class of 11 year olds as gifts as they leave primary school, we have supplied 20 or so Life Application Bibles to a Fijian young soldier serving in the British Army. He is a new Christian and is taking these Bibles to Fiji to be used by his family and friends there. Only yesterday 5 Youth Bibles went on their way to Llandeilo.

Many, many children's Bibles are bought as Christening presents and a large proportion of these are going into non-Christian homes which is a brilliant way of getting God's word to families. Sometimes, and more often than you would imagine a person will come into the shop looking for a Bible because they just feel they want to read it or to find out more about this Christian stuff.

In fact only yesterday there was a gentleman whose parents had passed away. He had started to read their Bible and now someone was buying him his own “easy to read” Bible as he put it.
So then it is up to us to guide gently and direct the person to an appropriate Bible and give some encouragement and explanation. There is a huge range of Bibles available and it can be a little bewildering at times."
